Note

Each placement can be enabled for either video only or video and static.

VAST Tag

VAST tag to contain multiple .mp4 media files having the following required attributes:

  • Delivery: progressive
  • Type: media/mp4, H.264/ AAC encoded.
  • Width: the native width of the video file, in pixels.
  • Height: the native height of the video file, in pixels.
  • Bitrate: average bitrate of the media file.
  • The VAST tag can contain a companion ad in a png/jpeg format.

Aspect Ratio

  • 16:9, maximum video dimensions: 300x168
  • Video files of any other aspect ratio will be padded with black space to fit the 16:9 video player.
  • Multiple media files (having various bitrates) matching the above spec are strongly recommended.
  • InMobi SDK picks up the best matching media file based on network connection speed and device type.

Transcoding Guidelines

  • Frame Rate: Max 23 FPS
  • Resolution: 300x168
  • Video Size: Max 500KB
  • Bitrate:
    • Video: Recommended to have one video file having a constant bitrate.
