Review the Size of the Requested Ad Slot

Most advertisers build creatives in a standard size. If your app requests for an ad slot size that does not match these standard sizes, InMobi may return a NO-FILL message (lack of ad) to you. Please refer to the information on Supported Parameters and Slot Sizes.

Support New Ad Formats

With mobile advertising gaining precedence over traditional forms of advertising, mobile ad formats are also undergoing transformations. For example, new age smartphones provide advertisers the opportunity to show full screen ads, commonly referred to as interstitials. Interstitial ads generate more clicks, and are great revenue boosters. It is important to balance interstitial ads with the user experience as these powerful monetization formats grab user attention.

Review your Integration Method

Industry-wide analysis clearly indicates a direct correlation between the publisher eCPM and the integration mode used. While SDK integration gives the best possible eCPMs, API integration lowers your chance of earning the best possible eCPMs on your traffic. For instance, the InMobi Ad SDK automatically computes request parameters such as geographic and demographic data (subject to acceptance by user). Send Geographic Data with the Ad Request

Highly targeted ads call for higher CPC bid amounts. With richer ad requests, InMobi can serve more relevant ads and improve your eCPMs. Our SDK will automatically extract geographic data, subject to acceptance by users. Set Ad Refresh Time

More ad requests do not always translate into more revenue. There is no one optimum ad refresh time; it is highly dependent on the app and the associated user experience. While many publishers use the default refresh rate of 60 seconds, some publishers have maximized their click-through rates (CTRs) at higher refresh rates. Finding the right refresh rate may not be easy, but it is known to have a great impact on the CTRs and your earnings. This field is also configurable in InMobi SDK.
